Did you know that when you are stressed, you do work half fast? That is according to a 7th grader who was writing about success. I laughed and laughed. I enjoyed scoring the essays, but my body is really glad that job is finished. It is imperative that I be able to work a schedule that is very flexible so I can work around all of my weird symptoms. If I don't, I become stressed and I work half fast. (Yes, I'm giggling at myself).
So, I'm back to social media. I finally decided the direction I want to take: helping people with illness manage health - fitness and nutrition, and teaching people who are just starting out how to manage a home. I'm working step by step to improve my online presence, and hope to move into affiliate marketing or running an online store. The key for me is step by step.
My attempt at making aluminum have a blackened patina has failed. I wanted to give it something that looks more natural than black sharpie or shoe polish, but instead it just looks bad. I am left with splotchy metal that has a salt crust that I can't get off. Well, I may be able to get it off with sand paper, but I'd rather just bust out the shoe polish on the pieces that haven't been through my patina experiment.
I moved the table, that is getting the patina metal pieces, out to the garage to be painted. We need to dremel the flower design into the metal brackets, patina the metal, and attach the metal to the table. I can't wait to post the finished product.
